PILATES
Pilates is a form of exercise invented by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century that emphasizes mind-body control through precise muscle use and a particular focus on alignment and posture.
The goal of Pilates is to increase strength, flexibility, and endurance.
The practice can be done with the aid of equipment or through bodyweight exercises with or without additional tools.
“In 10 sessions, you'll feel the difference; in 20, you'll see the difference; and in 30, you'll have a completely new body.”
Joseph Pilates
Pilates:
Matwork
A method that involves only bodyweight exercises performed, as the name suggests, on a mat without the use of equipment.
Pilates:
With Equipment
The machines operate using a sophisticated system of springs that support the muscles and skeleton while guiding the movement, channeling the energy in the correct way.
